Travel Insurance - are you really covered?

It is important to have insurance that covers you for the level of altitude that you will be trekking at. Many standard polices do not cover you for trekking to high altituides, such as on the Everest Base Camp Trek and Annapurna Circuit Trek which are over 5000m. To check the altitude of your trek please visit our home page.

Below is a list of insurance companies that offer insurance for high altitude trekking. Please note that Experience the Himalayas takes no responsibility if the information below is no longer correct.

For UK citizens we recommend the two companies below as they currently cover the altitudes of all our treks in their standard policies.
